Who is responsible

What we collect
- Details you give us in an enquiry: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, budget, preferences and your message.
- Your consent choices, and the page you enquired from.
- If you contact us on WhatsApp, the messages you send, handled under WhatsApp’s own terms.
We do not use advertising trackers. This site does not set analytics cookies unless you accept them (see cookies). Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send your data to a font provider.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide advice you ask for: your consent and steps at your request before a contract.
- To send the quarterly Market Pulse: only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep records required by law.
Laws that apply
We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 for UK visitors, the EU GDPR for visitors in the EU, and Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law. UK marketing emails also follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Sharing and transfers
We share your details only with service providers that help us operate (such as our email and form providers), and with a developer or lawyer only when you ask us to. Data may be processed in Oman and in the UK or EU. Where data leaves the UK, we use appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent, by emailing simon@roirealestate.co.uk. UK residents can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
